Since 1938 a local favorite. Cozy. Authentic. Great people. Consistently good seafood. Enjoyed another great martini with Little Necks as apperitivo. Finished with Cape Bay Scallops, broiled perfectly and sweet. You can only get these little gems in the late autumn when they're in season.

Food was amazing atmosphere absolutely awesome very rustic. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant very helpful very attentive. I think her name was Cathy. Would recommend us to absolutely anybody and there's a little gift shop attached to it if you're in the

We stopped here after a trip to old silver- my friend has a family home there. She went here many times, I had not.. the attached gift store was cute. I had the baked scrod- it was perfectly cooked. Portion seemed a bit small to me, but enjoyed the baked potato it was perfect. Came with a salad with nice greens. My friend enjoyed her mussels and the chicken parm was enjoyed as well. The Expresso martinis we ordered as it was touted to be "best of Boston".. they were just ok. But I'm spoiled from getting them at the local Portuguese club where they use real Expresso... All in all a nice little experience. Really loved the rustic charm of the inside. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

I tried the double cheeseburger. And I can easily say it was the best burger I've tried in my life. We immediately got sat down and the service was so fast. The atmosphere was so nice and it was not loud at all. Amazing restaurant.

We had the best food and service tonight!!! Emily our server was extremely attentive and so sweet! She answered all our questions about the menu and she was quite helpful with recommendations etc. the scallops and the burger were excellent. Wish the wine wasn't so pricey but next time we may not get a bottle and try something else. We will be back . Thank you !

The Time Machine that brings me back to my childhood visits to the cape. A perfect welcoming environment for the family, with consistent comforting food. We received a warm welcome and were quickly seated. I enjoyed the Friday night Scrod special with a baked potato. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the potato was a massive delight with butter and sour cream salt and pepper. Tonight, I gladly enjoined a coke and my wife opted to have Creamsicle which had perfect balance. We finished our meals sharing the warm brownie Sunday with my two kids. Thank you for the memories.

This is a perfect example of a quaint, New England-style restaurant. The interior is decorated with unique nautical decor, but the real attraction is the train caboose attached to one side of the restaurant. I ordered the Rueben and my wife got the Pastrami which was unbelievably delicious. My entree came with chips but I upgraded to the fries. The service was quick and the waitress was very friendly. Cocktails seem to be on the small side but the Martinis were delicious and you can't be the prices. Would definitely visit again!

Great food, great service and good drinks. Pleasantly surprised! Will definitely go back!
